f(x) = x2 + 6x - 16
x^2 + 8x – 2x - 16
(x – 8)-2(x-8)
(x+8)(x-2)
So the solutions would be -8 and 2.


g(x) = x2 +6x + 1
x^2 + x8 – 2x + 1
x(x + 8) -2x + 1
