Can someone check my Poem?
The Outdoors As I go outside I was met with the heat of the day As I walk out to my basketball court, I see the ball in the same place I had left it Almost saying “Hey, c’mon let’s play.” Up in the nest, a baby bird is chirping, The bird’s mom is away On my left, a gray squirrel is also watching the bird. The squirrel meets the bird and says “Here, have my nut” He quickly dived down the tree and ran off into the woods. As I look behind me, a deer about twenty feet behind me begins to eat As it eats the same squirrel came from the woods The squirrel quickly took a nut from the deer and ran away. As the deer and I looked at the squirrel, It jumped to the baby bird’s tree And gave it to the baby bird And as it ran away it crossed the street and ran into the woods As the squirrel left, the mother bird came, and fed the bird some worms As the bird stopped his eating he said “Mother I have already ate.” The weird things people see in the outdoors That many don’t get to see We should enjoy what we have seen, and keep them as a memory for ever.
I need to know where to put commas and periods?
