Define reverse saturation current

Saturation current. From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia. The saturation current or, more accurately, the reverse saturation current is that part of the reverse current in a semiconductor diode caused by drift of minority carriers from the neutral regions to the depletion region.

OpenStudy (radar):

It becomes "saturated" when the reverse current no longer increases with further increase in the reverse voltage bias.
