Please help? I don't understand. What's wrong with the image's title? I said that the opening of this wasn't for the purpose of independence but because the British wanted to seize arms from the colonists and the colonists had to defend themselves. So maybe it wasn't for independence but it was the opening of when British and the colonists fought?

hey :D umm, im not sure if im correct? o.o

OpenStudy (causticsyndicalist):

Yeah, it's actually the Revolutionary War, not the War of Independence. That's what's up with the title.

I don't get the independence and revolution war? my teacher said not to mention the "I" word? why not??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Like, doesn't the colonists want independence from the british, so they had like the 2nd continental congress meeting to enforce it or something?

OpenStudy (causticsyndicalist):

Okay, I'm confused now. I'm just saying the thing that's wrong with the title is that it says "War of Independence" when it's supposed to say "Revolutionary War". I'm not a history buff tbh.

oh ok. thanks
