Does Magnesium react with Magnesium Sulfate? If yes, why? If no, why?

In some small sense, probably, but there would be no overall reaction. As you can see, you already have magnesium present, adding more magnesium would do nothing.

If this was in solution, you could argue that you are concentrating more, but otherwise, no reaction.
