OpenStudy (amistre64):

prolly a bad idea, but at times i wish mods could mass delete postings. as in times when we see that someones posting history is replete with direct answers.

OpenStudy (jane11509):

I see You mean Like copy paste instead of helping workk together to figure out the problem

OpenStudy (anonymous):

arent those under closed questions?

OpenStudy (jane11509):

Um what do you mean????

OpenStudy (anonymous):

when you close a question it goes under closed questions right?

OpenStudy (jane11509):

Yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

isn thtat kinda what @amistre64 is talking about??

OpenStudy (jane11509):

Hm maybe I don't really know anymore ;-;

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i think thats what the post is saying just not directly lol

OpenStudy (amistre64):

spose userA has 'answered' 20 questions by just giving out answers like its D, its 24/30, etc etc .... and they have gotten 20 or so medals becuase of it. the giving of th emedals is most likely the driving force behind just giving out a direct answer and so to curb such enthusiasm we could just delete the whole lot of them in one fell swoop instead of clicking on them one by one

OpenStudy (amistre64):

also might be advantageous for those involved in medal parties.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OH, yeah i get what you mean thats kind of annoying lol

OpenStudy (amistre64):

admins have the option to mass delete ... or at least shadowfiend was able to do it. but they are so far and few between these days

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so your technically saying that you cant suspend them or whatever since they have been deleted i mean you are a mod lol

OpenStudy (amistre64):

i could warn/suspend. but in order to clean up their mess would take to much time and effort for a volunteer to handle. the warn and suspend is only an after effect and doesnt deal with the problem directly

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh i thought you mods were like cops lol

OpenStudy (amistre64):

all this of course assumes that the medaling system is an important system to maintain integrity of the site

OpenStudy (confluxepic):

Yeah. It would help take care of medal parties. @amistre64 Can't you just delete the whole question.

OpenStudy (amistre64):

deleting medal party questions, is fine. but for those who have honestly tried to participate in a question, to delete their content becuase of a trouble maker doesnt sound to fair to me.

OpenStudy (confluxepic):

I agree.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Like I said before, all you mods should have the power to do a lot more than you already can. Why don't the higher authorities grant you all this power...Idk.

OpenStudy (amistre64):

they fear us ;) they mistake it for love since theyve been conditioned to do so ... but deep down, they really know its fear and anger .... ah yes, that must be it!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Lol @amistre64 xD

OpenStudy (yanasidlinskiy):

Lol, I sooo!!!! agree!! I think that's wrong!!! But I've though the same, hahha!! "mods were cops"

OpenStudy (yanasidlinskiy):

*thought

OpenStudy (sleepyhead314):

I thought it was a feature that would/should have come with the new titles feature?

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

@Preetha look into doing this for Mods...

OpenStudy (e.mccormick):

I hope the dev team makes some new mod tools like the proposed mod page.
