Help, please
Which point is collinear with points A and C?
A. (0, 0) B. (1, 0) C. (0, –1) D. (–2, 2)
A: (0,0) B: (1,0) c:(0,-1) d:(-2,2)
2: What is the x-intercept of the line with the equation ( , 0)
To find x-intercept, put y = 0 in the equation and find x.
8x - 1/3 * y = 16 To find x-intercept, put y = 0: 8x - 0 = 16 x = 16/8 = 2 x-intercept (2, 0)
:D what about the first question?
For the first one imagine joining the points A and C with a straight line. This line will go through the left top corner of each small square in the grid. Where does it cross the y-axis?
The left i think
What are the coordinates of the point where it crosses the y-axis? The x-coordinate is obviously 0. What is the y-coordinate?
(0, -1?)
Yes!
Thanks so much again :D
You are welcome.
