OpenStudy (cwrw238):

the diagonals of a rhombus bisect eacah other and are also perpendicular so you have a right angles triangle as shown with legs of 13 and 20 cms length

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i figured out how to do it i did it on a caculator 40*26 = 1,040

OpenStudy (cwrw238):

good work

OpenStudy (anonymous):

try it on a caculator

OpenStudy (cwrw238):

lets look again ii think i made a false assumption there

OpenStudy (cwrw238):

my diagram is not to scale - how did you work it out?

OpenStudy (cwrw238):

oh 40 * 26?

OpenStudy (cwrw238):

- I was trying to work it out from first principles - i just checked out the formula its 1/2 * product of its diagonals so here we have 1/2 * 40 * 26 = 520 sq cms
