Guys, please help, I'll give a medal! I have been stuck on this for quite a while! How do the properties of exponents apply to exponential functions?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

do you mean for example x^1/2

OpenStudy (secret-ninja):

I guess so.

OpenStudy (secret-ninja):

I know that exponential functions are functions whose value is a constant rose to the power of the argument. I don't know what properties of exponents are.

idk sorry, I think x^3 is 3/x if that helps.... also I do know this negative exponents are the same as fractional ones, sooo x^-3 is same as x^1/3
