Checking to make sure I got these right: 1. The accumulation of small changes in a gene pool over a relatively short period is called: A: anagenesis B: cladogenesis C: MICROEVOLUTION D: punctuated equilibrium

OpenStudy (znappydooz):

which one do you think it is?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the one that's in all caps C

OpenStudy (znappydooz):

Yes, I believe that is the correct one ;)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay thank you could you help me on one? I cant get it

OpenStudy (znappydooz):

Microevolution the formation of a new group of organisms or higher taxon by evolutionary divergence from an ancestral form.

OpenStudy (znappydooz):

I'll give it a shot lol :P

OpenStudy (anonymous):

According to the Hardy-Weinberg principle, the p stands for: A: the most common allele b: the recessive allele C: the dominant allele D: the least-favored allele I wouldn't ask if I could find it in my text book type thing

OpenStudy (znappydooz):

Lol well I believe its... I think B

OpenStudy (znappydooz):

Due to the fact that it is not a capital letter, it is not a dominant allele, it's not the least favorable, and i wouldnt think its the most common... so i'd go for B

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it was c but its okay thanks for your help!

OpenStudy (znappydooz):

Really?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

C: the dominant allele

OpenStudy (znappydooz):

Alright, sorry :/

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thats for number 2
