Yes...I will First of all, you have to have a direct object to have an indirect object. The direct object follows the verb and answers the question " what " He (subject) taught (verb) He taught what ? He taught : his alphabet -- alphabet is your direct object Indirect object answers the question " to whom" Who did he teach ? He taught : others -- your indirect object
