Amos is using a computer program to graph the function N(p) = –73p – 2818. He wants to see the intercepts. Which minimum values should he use to set up the viewing window? X Min: –80, Y Min: –2500 X Min: –50, Y Min: –3000 X Min: –2500, Y Min: –80 X Min: –3000, Y Min: –50

To find the x-intercept substitute y=0. To find the y-intercept substitute x=0.

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

well look at your function N(p) = -73p - 2818 what valude do you get when you substitute p = 0..?

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

next let N(p) = 0 so your equation is 73p = -2818 what is the value of p... these should give you an idea for the screen size.... p is the x-axis N(p) is the y- axis hope it helps
