OpenStudy (anonymous):

if 28% of a sum is 100.80 , what is the sum

OpenStudy (loinducoeur):

I don't really know how to explain it, but hopefully my workings out can help.\[100.8\div28=3.6\]\[3.6\times100=360\] Therefore, 360 is the sum.

OpenStudy (xapproachesinfinity):

28%of the sum=100.8 that means 28/100. (the sum)=100.8 so the sum= (100.8x100)/28 and that gets you 360 like he achieved as well
