When you turn down the volume what will happen to the sound waves' amplitude?

OpenStudy (barreraa):

Intensity of sound is dealt as volume in case of radio sets. Intensity is directly proportional to the square of amplitude. So as volume is turned down, intensity is reduced and so the amplitude is decreased. hope this helps
