-2(x + 3) = -2(x + 1) - 4 Can someone simply show me the steps to this?

first distribute -2 on both sides ex -2*x then -2*3 and that is -2x-6 then do the other side of the = sign that is -2*x then -2*1 and that is -2x-1 now it should look like -2x-6=-2x-1-1 Do you know what to do once you have got this far
