Complimentary angles : two angles whose sum adds to 90. With that outta the way, let's get started.

OpenStudy (confluxepic):

5x=90

OpenStudy (confluxepic):

x=18

Thanks.....I get sooo confused with angles

OpenStudy (anonymous):

x = 18 x+ 4x = 90 5x = 90 x = 18 The angle MUST add up to 90. :)

OpenStudy (confluxepic):

You wanted 18. If you wanted the other one, either do 4*18 or do 90-18

Thanks
