write an equation in slope-intercept form for the line that satisfies the given conditions. x-intercept is -6 and y-intercept is 2

OpenStudy (imstuck):

You find the x intercept when y = 0. You find the y intercept when x = 0. So the two points on the line will be (0, ?) and (?,0). The x intercept is -6 (when y is 0) so that point is (-6,0). The y intercept is 2 (when x is 0) so that point is (0,2). Now you have two points on the line and you can now findd the slope of the line. Can you do that?
