Find the slope of the line whose equation is 5y = x - 3.

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

just divide by 5 to get it in the format of y=mx+b and m is your slope.

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

so y=1/5x-3/5

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

So then finally 1/5 is your slope.
