standard form= a(x-h)^2+k h is horizontal translation (x-h is to the right, x+h is to the left of the y axis) k is vertical translation (+k is up, -k is down)
can you show me step by step on how to do it

oh ok. i've written the transformation for you above. reflection: -a for downwards parabola, +a for upwards compression: 0<a<1 -> compress, a>1-> stretch
so its a stretch and not a compression?
