a small package is attached to a helium-filled balloon rising 2m/s. The package drops from the balloon when it is 14 meters above the ground. What is the velocity of the package just before it hits the ground?

A hint here: The initial velocity of the package will be 2m/s. Use the equation: \[v^{2}-u^{2}=2gs\] Use proper signs for initial velocity, final velocity, acceleration due to gravitation and displacement(Consider upward or downward direction +ve and relate the direction of other quantities with it, giving it + value if its in same direction, otherwise -ve value)
