Given theta = 19pi/6 . Find the exact values of all six trigonometric functions of theta. Draw the angle. Find the reference angle and label the picture.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you have to draw a picture first

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I don't know were to begin with the picture?

OpenStudy (perl):

first find what quadrant your angle is

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Do i use the unit circle to determine which quadrant it is in?

OpenStudy (perl):

19Pi / 6 = 2pi + k * pi/6

OpenStudy (perl):

so ignoring the pi pi ( 2 + k/6 ) = Pi 19/6

OpenStudy (perl):

2 + k/6 = 19/6 k/6 = 19/6 - 2 k = 19 - 12 k = 7

OpenStudy (perl):

so 2pi + 7pi/6 = 19pi/6

OpenStudy (perl):

it might be easier if you convert radian measure to degrees

OpenStudy (skullpatrol):

are you still there @whitney9401 ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm here!

OpenStudy (skullpatrol):

how many radians are in one complete revolution?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

2pi radians

OpenStudy (perl):

clearly this angle is more than 1 revolution
