George Cayley was considered the father of aviation. He was the first to come up the the idea of a modern airplane and the heavier-than-air flight theory. Cayley carried out experiments that allowed him to learn more about wing structure and Being first to discover the four aerodynamic forces of flight weight, lift, drag, and thrust and their relationship, these were later used by the wright brothers in their theories and discoveries.
