How did the U.S. Constitution solve problems with the election of legislators under the Articles of Confederation? It created a bicameral legislature, allowing each state two ways of passing laws. It specified that the people would choose the representatives in federal government. It created a Congress, allowing each state an equal number of elected officials to represent it. It created an executive branch, allowing each state to lobby the president for vetoes.
