I got x< 3.8 @aum

I just noticed a typo. Let me start all over again.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay

OpenStudy (aum):

x + 10 < 4 (x + 2 ) - 9 x + 10 < 4x + 8 - 9 x + 10 < 4x - 1 To solve for x, isolate x. Subtract x from both sides. 10 < 3x - 1 add 1: 11 < 3x divide by 3 11/3 < x or x > 11/3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

:) thank you how would I graph that?

OpenStudy (aum):

The open circle "o" at 11/3 means 11/3 is NOT included in the solution. All x past 11/3 to the right are part of the solution.

okay great thanks

You are welcome.
