Can someone please help me? I need help with graphing Linear Inequalities.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Sure :) ask away

OpenStudy (nerdy_3000):

How do you graph the inequalites 1.\[y \ge2x-5\] 2.\[y \le2x-3\] 3.\[y \le1/4x-5\] 4.\[y >-3/5+5\]

OpenStudy (nerdy_3000):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Do you know how to graph linear equations? like y = 2x - 5

OpenStudy (nerdy_3000):

Graphing yes but shading is where I have my issues

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

if you have a > sign, you shade above the line if you have a < sign, you shade below the line

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

for instance, \[y \ge2x-5\] will have you shade above the boundary line

OpenStudy (nerdy_3000):

Ok I understand now thank you. :)
