I need help learning these, I know how to do regular square roots. I have a test on them and I need to learn about them.

On my practice I have a question that says "Find the real-number root." sqr of -3.24

D. no real roots

I thought it would be A, but I was wrong. Please help teach me how to solve this.

Example: -3 times -3 equals a positive 9

The square root of a negative number is an imaginary number, not a real number.
