Which group on the periodic table contains only metals? The left-hand side of the table begins with Group 1 element. Group 1 elements begin with hydrogen. Group 2 elements begin with Beryllium. Group 3 through Group 12 are in the center of the table. The top row of these element groups include the elements Scandium, Titanium, Vanadium, Chromium, Manganese, Iron, Cobalt, Nickel, Cooper, and Zinc.
