what is the increasing/decreasing intervals of f(x)=sin(x) [-2pie,2pie]

zepdrix (zepdrix):

hey c: Soooo, is this for calculus? or just basic trigonometry stuff? :O I'm just curious which approach you're using for this problem. Derivative?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@zepdrix, i think im on the parent functions. We are learning to identify the function based on a graph. and i must find the intervals of decreasing/increasing, domain/range, odd, even or neither of these function graphs.

im stuck with the sine/cosine function graphs

Here is a nice graphing utility that we can use: https://www.desmos.com/calculator/ak9thlfhnf If you have your own, that's ok too. But this one is interactive, so it's kind of nice :)

zepdrix (zepdrix):

y-intercept = heart? aw so cute c: lol jk

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol xD, i was rushing to copy the notes that my teacher wrote.. no clue on what i wrote on the bottom..

zepdrix (zepdrix):

We're restricted to this little window, I think that's what we want to call our domain..... that's what we would normally do at least.. 0_O
