Two motors travel in a opposite direction. Motor 1 travels to the right at a speed of 80km/h and motor 2 travels to the left at a speed of 20 m/s. The total distance is 12.9 km.

1)AT which point do they meet?

So I found the time for both which was 30.55 sec ( or something around that)
and then I just plugged time in d=vt for both.

2) How long does it take two motors to separate?
*I thought that HIgh school physics was only suppose to deal with elastic collision, not one where they stick and then separate?*
