OpenStudy (anonymous):

the sum of e^n/(8^n-1) starting from n=1 to infinity. I know it converges, but what does it converge to?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

can we Lhop?

OpenStudy (freckles):

is that 8^(n-1) on the bottom or is it actually 8^n-1?

OpenStudy (freckles):

if it is the first it is a geometric series

OpenStudy (freckles):

and we can easily find the sum it converges to

OpenStudy (freckles):

if we do have 8^n-1 though I really not sure if we can find the sum it converges to

OpenStudy (freckles):

we can determine if it converges or diverges though

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It's the first! I got 8e/8+e using geo series, but that isn't right.
