OpenStudy (praetorian.10):

This is really bugging me. I work at a health clinic as a medical assistant and yesterday this 17 year old kid came in complaining of what turned out to be a sprained ankle, but what caught my attention was that he actually had white hairs growing among his eyebrows and even on his eyelashes and the only thing I can attribute this to would be stress. You guys got any ideas?

OpenStudy (nincompoop):

again? how many times are you going to post this?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

One of the main cause of white hairs is minimization in the production of 'Melanin'(a pigment tht gives hairs and evn skin its color).... Another cause of premature white eyebrow hair is excessive smoking which results in the nicotine present in tobacco adversely affecting the pigmentation.

OpenStudy (ookawaiioo):

Any white hair from a youngster is GENETIC. There are women in their 50s that dont have a single grey hair....... its weird.

Miracrown (miracrown):

Its not weird, they just dye their hair - that's all. :^)

OpenStudy (nincompoop):

I've already answered this from another post http://openstudy.com/study#/updates/544c4589e4b0e4617ebfe5bf
