This is really bugging me.

I work at a health clinic as a medical assistant and yesterday this 17 year old kid came in complaining of what turned out to be a sprained ankle, but what caught my attention was that he actually had white hairs growing among his eyebrows and even on his eyelashes and the only thing I can attribute this to would be stress.

You guys got any ideas?

stress? not so likely but a possibility

look up what gives hair its color and necessary nutrients for it. it could be a genetic predisposition of some condition. Stress is very high among teens and the concern and attribution you indicated is not likely to be the cause.
I've already had many grey and some reddish hairs when I was in 5th grade.
