What was one reason that Patriots were more willing to go to war with Britain than the Loyalists

One reason would be because of the acts. For example the intolerable acts allowed/required for a colonist to supply a British soldier with housing or supplies if needed. Another reason would be because the patriots wanted to go against authority. While the loyalist stayed loyal to Britain some still believed they will go back to their homeland while patriots wanted to separate from the church and Britain and become their own nation away from the monarchy a the corrupted church.
