OpenStudy (anonymous):

g(x)=( (x^3+7x^2+x+7)/(x+7) k, x=-7

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

Have you considered factoring the numerator. I'm almost certain there is a factor of (x+7) in there.

OpenStudy (freckles):

does k represent something?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes i did ((x+7) (x^2+1))/(x+7) I was not sure! Assign a value to the constant k which make g continuose

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

So, g(x) everyehwere but x = -7 and k for x = -7 Now, seriously, factor the numerator.

OpenStudy (freckles):

@RaguRagu have you completed the task of finding k?
