what is meant by 'the position of'

OpenStudy (amistre64):

and the question is simple enough that we can actually type it in this post .. in order to avoid flipping back and forth between windows. can you post it here?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

the the question remains, what does it mean by 'the position of' is it speaking about the anchor point, or the direction vector?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i think the position vector

OpenStudy (amistre64):

then that is what i call the anchor point so whats your assessment of it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i choose (2,3)

OpenStudy (amistre64):

position is not changing, its constant

OpenStudy (amistre64):

(2t,3t) is changing by t

OpenStudy (amistre64):

since we are just adding vectors here, the other vector is constant (the anchor point)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh ok so (-1,3) got it thanks

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the (2,3) is the direction vector

OpenStudy (amistre64):

yep :) good jon

OpenStudy (amistre64):

*job
