first distribute bracket on left side by -4
OpenStudy (ja1):
\[-8x + 4= -6x - 12 - 2\]
Nnesha (nnesha):
now combine like terms on right side
OpenStudy (ja1):
\[-8x + 4 = -6x - 10\]
