how do I find the circumference of the earth with out using google?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

idk but the circumference of the earth is 24,901 (40,075 km) miles

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ooh u do this: C=2 pie (3.14) r (Radius) for example 50000 is 3.14x10^5 because there are 5 digits in the number and solve

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I don't follow

OpenStudy (anonymous):

let me make it easier, so the circumference of the earth is 24,901 miles. 24,901 is 3.14 (u always use this number to find circumference) 3.14x10^5 (the ^ is to the power so ^5 is 10x10x10x10x10 5 times) But sometimes, we round it up to 25,000 so it would be 3.14x10^5=25,000 did u get that?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ohhhhhh

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol thx for all the medals xD

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ur wellcome
