factor and whatever cancels out is a zero then plug number in for x with remaining numbers

OpenStudy (anonymous):

could you work it ive tried that and i still dont get it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i did factor and nothing cancels out

OpenStudy (1645323):

you factor and get 4x(x-9)/x-9 and the x-9 cancels. plug 9 in for x in 4x and the zero is at 9,36

OpenStudy (1645323):

pull out a 4x on top
