If abcd is an isosceles trapezoid what is the value of x

OpenStudy (midhun.madhu1987):

figure?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

figure and side values or we really can't help

OpenStudy (midhun.madhu1987):

any diagram u have?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (midhun.madhu1987):

The Opposite angles of a Isosceles trapezium are supplementary. that is Angle A + Angle C = 180 So Angle C = 180 - 71 = 109

OpenStudy (midhun.madhu1987):

Now angle C + Angle D = 180 Since they are Co-Interior angles

OpenStudy (midhun.madhu1987):

6x - 7 + 109 = 180 find x from this equation

OpenStudy (anonymous):

x=13

OpenStudy (midhun.madhu1987):

Perfect... :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

omg, thank you sooooo much :)

OpenStudy (midhun.madhu1987):

My pleasure :)
