MIT 6.189 Download the material from http://ocw.mit.edu/courses/electrical-engineering-and-computer-science/6-189-a-gentle-introduction-to-programmi uppack the zip file Work through the material and assignments on your own pace Ask questions and discuss the materials/troubles over here If you were taking 6.00CS Download the files as one big zip file from http://ocw.mit.edu/courses/electrical-engineering-and-computer-science/6-00sc-introduction-to-computer-science-and-programming-spring-2011/download-course-materials/ unpack it It might be worht wile to download the lectures and recitation videos as well from https://ia700806.us.archive.org/25/items/MIT6.00SCS11/ or https://archive.org/details/MIT6.00SCS11 And work thourgh the material at your own pace Watch the lecturte go to the acompanying page (as downloaded) see what assignment and info there is work through the acompanying assignment \watch the recitation video (most of the times every other lecture is followed by a recitation video) You can discuss the assignments here if needed Check you're work with the solutions (also in the downloaded zip file) Ask questions over here After every UNIT (about 9 lectures or so) yiou can do the quiz/exam (also downloaded in the big zip file Discuss troubles over here You cannot submit any work, or quiz anywhere, it is just working through downloaded material, but apart from that it is almost as if you are really taking a class Welcome to the club
