-8<4(x-2)<=3

OpenStudy (phi):

that represents two relations -8 < 4(x-2) and 4(x-2) <= 3 you can simplify both of them by isolating x on one side. for example with -8 < 4(x-2) what do you get if you divide both sides by 4 ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[-8<4\left( x-2 \right)\le 3\] \[-8<4 x-8\le 3\] add 8 to each and to find x divide each by 4
