Help please will give a medal and fan. Given the geometric sequence where a1 = 4 and the common ratio is 3, what is the domain for n? A) All integers where n ≥ 1 B) All integers where > 1 C) All integers where n ≥ 4 D) All real numbers

OpenStudy (chosenmatt):

I think it's D.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what is 'n' denoting? a variable..or index..or..?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I was thinking it was D but not sure

OpenStudy (anonymous):

This is all of the info it gives

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you @chosenmatt

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if n is the index, the answer should be A. i.e., the ratio is \[\frac{ a _{n+1} }{ a _{n }} = 3\] does this seem right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

or did you write a^1 instead of a1?...
