Pleaase Help @shinalcantara @Secret-Ninja

@shinalcantara

OpenStudy (anonymous):

HI ninja :)

OpenStudy (shinalcantara):

what is it? o.o

OpenStudy (shinalcantara):

\[1.78 (10^{12}) \rightarrow 0.178^{13}\] since it is now having the same exponent as \[4.55(10^{13})\] then it's easier to subtract you try to simplify it disregarding first 10^13 4.55-0.178=?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@shinalcantara I dont understand ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

):

OpenStudy (shinalcantara):

since you need to find the difference of the two, all you have to do is subtract.. the number in standard form is like this 45,500,000,000,000 and 1,780,000,000,000 all you have to do is subtract what i did was that i didn't expand it to standard form since it's too long rather i expressed the other one to the same power of 13 as that for antarctic making both of them having the same exponent so you could subtract. you will have it as: 4.55 x 10^(13) - 0.178 x 10^(13)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So 4.55 x 10^(13) - 0.178 x 10^(13) = ? And then that will be the answer @shinalcantara

OpenStudy (shinalcantara):

all you have to do is subtract 0.178 from 4.55 and the answer will just carry the 10^(13) with it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

4.372 x 10^(13) ? @shinalcantara

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Sorry for bothering you so much @shinalcantara

OpenStudy (shinalcantara):

yep! =)

OpenStudy (shinalcantara):

it's okay @Synquence . no need to worry =)
