Does getting warned by a Moderator decrease your Smart Score?

OpenStudy (igreen):

I'm thinking it doesn't..

OpenStudy (conqueror):

No. -.- It's just something that pops up on your screen, a little different from suspensions which make you lose your SS.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no

OpenStudy (confluxepic):

No.

OpenStudy (abhisar):

Nothing makes you lose your smartScore, neither warning nor suspension. Warnings are given by moderators to WARN users about any of their wrong doings. If they keep repeating the same mistake mods then award them with suspensions which prohibits them from logging into OpenStudy for a certain period. The period for which you get suspended is on the decision of mod.

OpenStudy (abhisar):

Though, you loose your SmartScore if you keep your account idle/inactive forlong time.

OpenStudy (igreen):

@Abhisar I've been told several times that suspensions make it harder to increase your smart score..and that there are -1 SS people..

jigglypuff314 (jigglypuff314):

@Abhisar false about not decreasing... there's a few accounts out there that have a -1 ss to prove it but yeah, I dont think getting warned affects the ss, but it does get permanently recorded by the system

OpenStudy (abhisar):

Hmm let's tag someone who can through light on this @e.mccormick @thomaster

OpenStudy (igreen):

They're both offline.. lol.

OpenStudy (e.mccormick):

Warnings are logged, so it is possible. However, they have never detailed out the SS system fully to help prevent gaiming it. Things like suspensions holding people back have been talked about by the former dev team. Warnings, as far as I know, were never discussed.
