How would you think to solve it? Its simple math....would you divide, multiply, add or subtract?

OpenStudy (patrickweewoos):

divide

OpenStudy (anonymous):

right...now what are you dividing?

OpenStudy (patrickweewoos):

20/297.20

OpenStudy (vlery):

the equation would look like 20c=297.20

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you sure? you kind of got that backwards....

OpenStudy (igreen):

You can use the equation 20b = 297.2 Because b is the books, and you have 20. And the total cost is 297.2.

OpenStudy (igreen):

And you divided that wrong. @PatrickWeeWoos It should be the other way around.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Divide 297.20 by 20. 297.20 / 20 = ?

OpenStudy (patrickweewoos):

wait @Vlery got it right it was supposed to be a equation

OpenStudy (anonymous):

?

OpenStudy (igreen):

Yes, it is.

OpenStudy (patrickweewoos):

Ill fan everyone :D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (patrickweewoos):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

divide

OpenStudy (patrickweewoos):

12/190.80

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No, 190.80 / 12.

OpenStudy (vlery):

what patrick said ^

OpenStudy (patrickweewoos):

HUH?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you get it mixed up @PatrickWeeWoos but don't worry u'll get it

OpenStudy (patrickweewoos):

Ok thank you so just divide 190.80/20

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you got it :)

OpenStudy (patrickweewoos):

YAY!!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Lol COGRATZ!!

OpenStudy (patrickweewoos):

its 9.54

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You divide the bigger number by the smaller number here.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Half the time that's the case @AnswerMyQuestions

OpenStudy (patrickweewoos):
