December 24, 1814 The Treaty of Ghent (8 Stat. 218), signed on December 24, 1814 in the Flemish city of Ghent, was the peace treaty that ended the War of 1812 between the United States of America and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland.
The Outcome was that both U.S And The U.K were torn apart by the war and had many problems after it ended
