lol... well umm in an isosceles, triangle 2 sides and angles are the same so... the unlabelled side is also equal to x. Sum of all angles in any triangle is 180 degrees so... 38 + 2x= 180 and then solve

for the second one: the line AD is cutting the angle BAC in half Like we said before 2 sides and tangles in an isosceles triangle are equal therefore angle ABC = angle BCA = 47 angle CAB = 2y 47+47+2y = 180 solve for y and x is obviously a right angle.
