From the beginning, a chip on my shoulder
They keep aiming at my heart, all it's getting is colder
I heal scars with the liquor, mix it in with the soda
Knew that I went and quit, telling my feather that it's over
Then the whole world switch up when they convinced that they know ya
You know you made it when they show you the respect that they owe ya
