OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay what is the equation and i can help you.

OpenStudy (cosma09):

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

just remember that you can turn a whole number into a fraction by putting a 1 in the denominator. Example : 2/3 * 4 = 2/3 * 4/1...now just multiply across = 8/3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah but its a negative number

OpenStudy (anonymous):

-24*(52 and 180)

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

does not matter example : 3/5 * -4 = 3/5 * -4/1 = -12/5

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

where is the fraction ? Is it supposed to be : -24 * 52/180 ??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its a multiple choice answer if that helps i guess

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

-24/1 * 52/180 = - 1248/180 reduced = - 104/15 or as a mixed number = 6 14/15

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i think its 52/15

OpenStudy (anonymous):

a 19/45 b 104/15 c 52/15 d 1080/13

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

it is : - 104/15

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

It has to be a negative because a negative times a positive is a negative

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok thank you

OpenStudy (texaschic101):
