What survial advantages can you think of that an organism, such as homo sapiens, has as a result of its endoskeleton

OpenStudy (secret-ninja):

The advantages of an endoskeleton would be: Bones are less vulnerable to break. The advantages of an exoskeleton however would be: better for protection from danger. A creature with an endoskeleton would be humans, dogs, cats, mice, birds, etc. A creature with an exoskeleton would be crabs, lobsters, wingspanroaches, etc. Some animals like snails have a shell which would also be an exoskeleton. Some animals like tortoises have both an endoskeleton and an exoskeleton.
